I am at such a loss for words. We are all so blessed. Kinda makes all the election hype seem so small…
So hard to see things like that…makes my heart break and just wonder why oh why. About my blog…I’m glad it was refreshing to you. The world isn’t going to end. And if it does/did, I think I may just think that’s just fine. I choose to fix my eyes on things above…which is hard at times. I liked what you said about not worrying – AMEN sister. So many things to worry about, so little spiritual energy to do so =) Blessings.
I will be praying for Ben and his family. Such a sweet face on a sweet little boy!
my heart is hurting now and i can’t stop crying. i just posted this on my blog too.
so glad you shared it…
i’m thankful that blogging can bring people to pray for complete strangers around the world who don’t even know one another.
So sad… praying
yes, please any of you who feel compelled, share this. we need to really lift this whole family up to Jesus
That’s a cute presidential sketch you posted.
Prayers for this family today’s post.
Kate, thanks for passing this along to your readers.
FYI, I originally learned of the Townes Family through the blog of Annie Parsons (http://hootenannieparsons.blogspot.com). Many are posting and praying! Thanks, everyone. Thank you, Lord.
Wow, that is heart wrenching. It makes you so thankful for your children’s health. I’ll pray for this family. Lord, please have mercy on little Ben’s parents, give them unimaginable comfort and peace.
Thanks for the link. What a heartwrenching situation…
I went to the site a couple days ago and read every post there. I feel drawn in emotionally and mentally. I’ve been praying for them and I pray God works a miracle in this situation. Time will tell.
Thanks for letting us all know here.

Thanks for posting that Kate! The Towne’s are from my church, and we had a special prayer meeting just for him Wednesday, Ben has been fighting so long in his short beautiful life. His dad is the youth pastor at UPC, but has taken almost a year of leave, understandably; and thousands of people in Seattle and around the world, literally, are carrying the banner for their fam, when strength is hard to find.
