Some of you may remember the Great Ornament Exchange of 2008… well, I didn’t have the time or energy to do it last Christmas, but I am excited about doing it this year!
If you love Christmas and would love to get (and give) a unique ornament, this is the exchange for you!
HERE’s HOW IT WORKS:
1.) You email me with the following information:
*[your name, mailing address, ph #, & one sentence (please only one!) stating anything you really like or anything you really don't like.. i.e. "no Santas- I love silver ornaments!"- keep it brief...remember part of the fun is getting something you haven't specifically picked out]*
2.) I add your name to the list.
*[and yes, your info is very safe with me... I will put it on a spreadsheet for the exchange only and then delete it once your ornament has been received- pinkie swear!]*
3.) On DECEMBER 3rd at midnight the list closes. Then I use a random number generator to decide who “gets” who.
4.) On DECEMBER 4th I email you with the info for the person you “got”.
5.) You buy a fun ornament, write an encouraging note, visit the person’s blog [if they have one- not required] and ship said ornament NO LATER than December 15th.
6.) You receive a fun ornament, an encouraging note and maybe even make a friend. 
So… email me @ mcdonkate@gmail.com and put “ornament exchange” in the subject line of the email. If you want to add the cute button above to your blog/facebook/website, ask for the code and I will email that to you in response.

Okay, I’m going to give it another shot. Last time, I sent out my ornament and never received on in return. Sad.
I’m optimistic that this time around will be much different.

I am going to hound people if ornaments aren’t sent (and black list them for next year!) And I will keep a stash of ornaments to send out myself in case something falls through…

Oh, I’m so sad I missed it this year!!! Arg! I loved it when I did it last time! I received this cute little glass blown pig ornament. Ha! Well, Hope everyone enjoyed it!
