I've been married now for just over 5 months and I'm finding that though my marriage God is showing me so many ways I need to change. I know you posted this a while ago but it has been such a big help to me today. God blessed me with a WONDERFUL guy three months ago, and i thought i was on the road to marriage. The relationship, i know was the Lord's plan for us at that time. But out of no where He took it away. I realized I had underestimated HIS power, He has the ability to take away what He gives us. I expected this break up to break me and send me in a familiar spiral of broken heartedness I experienced before...but instead of the pain I have hope. It's weird, and I can't explain it...but as you said, it shows me that He is and has been working in me. The lyrics you posted were told to me right after the break up by my friend...and have spoken to me SOO much since.
