Ok, I know I posted about not keeping track of my days recently, but I swear I thought until about 10 minutes ago that today was Saturday. I don’t what is happening to me, friends. I used to be able to know what time it was all of the time within a few minutes. Now, please don’t even ask me the day of the week, I will be downright stumped.
Oh well. Cohen slept through the night for the first time last night since those big bad molars started making their presence known. Thank you Lord! I might have dealt with some insomnia but at least I didn’t have a toddler doing the alligator roll on me all night. *grin* (do any of your kids do that? Oh my! Its like he’s a rolling pin and he’s working out the lumps in (me) the pie crust all night! back and forth! toss this way and that! Of course, if he could work out my lumps, I would say “bring it on, little man” but alas I wake with the same ones each morning 🙂 )
Speaking of the battle of the
baby weight bulge, this morning was ended my first week back to weight training. The soreness is lifting and I can feel that I have muscles in there! I remember back in the day (read: pre-traveling lifestyle and pregnancy) when I walked or climbed stairs and I was aware that muscle inside my body was making that happen because I could feel them. I felt them today and it was like meeting up with an old friend… “well hello muscles! I almost forgot about you! Sorry I haven’t kept in touch! Want to get coffee? or some stair climbers?” It was lovely. We are using the circuit training workouts from Making The Cut and they are really awesome! I highly recommend it to any of you who are also working to get back in shape.
Ok this might be a post of side notes. Is that alright with you all? I am working on this week’s Sunday Sessions so its hard to think of much else. (if you didn’t check out the first week you can read it here)
Anyway, I wanted to say a BIG PRAISE GOD because our house in Seattle finally closed yesterday and we are no longer pitching thousands of dollars every month to pay for an empty house! Its such a huge relief for our check book and in our minds. Thanks to those of you who prayed for us. We are so thankful God took the house off of our hands.
Shawn is here briefly- he is leaving in a few hours to go back to Michigan to prepare for a few more shows coming up. Covet your prayers. Can’t say much more than that. But I suppose that’s ok, cause God knows everything that’s going on, right?
When Shawn leaves and Co naps, I am going to be catching up your blogs and responding to your comments- I haven’t forgotten you, friends!
